Hi there! I’m Carol, a UX/UI Designer with a background in Process Engineering based in Calgary, Alberta.

Even before discovering the UX world, I was always driven by curiosity and nurtured a fondness for problem-solving. As a Customer Success Engineer, I practiced interviewing and understanding the pain points of every client while managing key client projects. Years of acting as the bridge between client needs, business goals, and engineering solutions helped me shape an empathetic, user-centered approach to design.

I firmly believe in continuous learning and pushing past my comfort zone to grow and develop. I am inspired to make this career change to make a positive impact through design in a field I can be passionate about.

When I’m not designing or listening to psychology podcasts, I love cooking, fitness training, cuddling with my cats Leva and Oliver, and exploring other exciting worlds through books and video games.
